Useful e-bike timing, without another app to check.

Bike Beacon is operated by Dylan Elder. It combines a user-selected Google Calendar signal with Capital Bikeshare’s public live availability feed, then sends an informational SMS shortly before a matching trip.

The service began as a local macOS tool. The hosted version moves scheduling to Cloudflare so alerts continue when the operator’s computer is asleep.
